Release of Labyrinth Of Shadows
Hey everyone!
It's me again! I decided to launch my game a few days ahead of the deadline. Here's how I worked on it:
I wanted to create a unique concept that would be engaging while using FaceKit, and I came up with the idea of a maze, starting from scratch.
Step by step, I realized that I also wanted to focus on the atmosphere. This is my first game using assets—cute and cartoonish—that I carefully created with Ava. I also dedicated special development time to working on the sound design.
I had a lot of ideas: using voice commands to find hidden paths behind destructible walls, incorporating emotions to complete certain levels, working with levers and buttons... Unfortunately, I quickly hit limitations with AI. I even considered adding some lore, but I'll save that for future updates.
Throughout this journey, I became really attached to Ari and his little universe. It truly feels like I’m sharing a piece of my world—a part of my baby—with all of you.
