Here is a snapshot/synthesis of what improvements users want on the platform extracted from the Discord suggestion channel : On Game Creation Engine A) Asset Creation & Management: 1. Add rounded squares capability 2. Add circle cropping option for assets 3. Add ability to rename assets 4. Convert crop feature to resize option with ratio locking 5. Add color picker to eraser tool B) Code Editor Improvements: 1. Improve cursor visibility in code editor 2. Keep code editor position when saving changes (Done!👍) 3. Add standardized movement capabilities (especially joystick controls) 4. Add standardized GUI components library (leaderboards, settings menu, achievements) 5. Add "Reuse" button for previous prompts 6. Add "Enhance" button for AI to try alternative implementations 7. Improve response accuracy for common requests C) Game Testing & Preview: 1. Move unpublished games to unlisted section in creator's profile (Done!👍) 2. Restore preview feature for testing unfinished games 3. Hide Publish button for un-themed games (basic squares only) 4. Keep game canvas position fixed when end-game overlay appears 5. Make pause button smaller and move to corner 6. Add mute sounds button similar to pause button 7. Restore debug mode D) Game Features: 1. Add data saving capability for logged-in players (Done!) 2. Add more standardized gameplay features 3. Add more fonts On UpIt Community Platform A) Discovery & Navigation: 1. Add search functionality for finding specific creators 2. Make creator's game collection page visible to players 3. Integrate contest submissions within the platform 4. Show earnings from contests to inspire people 5. Bring back hashtag functionality for finding games by genre 6. Add "Top Games" button alongside "Random Game" 7. Improve trending page algorithm B) Content Management & Style: 1. Move unpublished games to unlisted section in creator's profile (Done! 👍) 2. Add verification system for creators after 2-3 published games 3. Add copy to clipboard button for game URLs 4. Support bold text and italics in descriptions 5. Add more stats on Creator's profile (total creations, total plays) 6. Add light/dark mode and date format settings 7. Reduce mobile UI overlay size on game thumbnails C) Community Features: 1. Add block/mute user function 2. Allow editing of comments by author 3. Allow images in comments (ie: for sharing scores) 4. Add special badge for original UpIt (FRVR) users 5. Make comments button always visible 6. Reduce email notifications for minor interactions
