Endless update + 2 more boss battle
A big update just dropped! I have to admit, it took me longer than I expected at the very end I ran into an issue and had to completely redo the mechanic responsible for playing and stopping the music xD Endless mode has been added: the rule is simple—survive the tempo as long as you can. I’d really appreciate if you could test it, since I might not be objective (I created all the patterns that are generated in this mode myself). On both phone and PC I managed to last 15 minutes without any problem, so I feel like the mode might actually be a bit too easy. Feel free to share your results in the comments let me know how long you lasted and what your max combo was! 🙂 I’ve also added two more bosses. I know I promised all of them, but trust me it’s possible to get sick of music when you have to listen to it 50 times in a row, especially when you’re generating 200+ songs and trying to pick the right one by listening to each one. That would definitely impact making the next rhythm map so give me some more time

Hey Silas, yeah the mode looks great but I also find it too easy. I made it to 10 minutes with full health and I just think it needs to get more complicated. Nice work though.
Thanks for the feedback! yea it’s a bit too easy, but honestly, I could make the patterns a lot harder but the gap between notes is already pretty minimal and, even though it doesn’t happen often, sometimes tap/swipe actions can overlap a bit. I’ll lower the chance for the HP buff and add some harder patterns, but I seriously need a break from the editor and just listen to “rain sounds 2 hours” xD. I’ll quickly add “combo and score” too, since I totally forgot to include that during gameplay.
And I also suspect you’re not just a casual player, but someone who’s put in their fair share of gaming hours and adapts quickly to the game’s pace so we just end up tapping fast by default ;D
Haha, it feels like being a life long gamer is not that helpful when you’re trying to make games instead of playing them. I try to keep things simple, but I just find everything too easy. It’s hard to judge.
