It computes the rotation of the segment based on the coordinates x1,y1 and x2,y2. then it updates the width so that the segment to reach its full size at the end of the delay. eg. when I call drawSegment(gameRef, 0,0,100,0,3), a small segment (width 1, height 1) will be added at 0,0 and will grow to 100,0 within 3 seconds.
