Rogue Race
For my first GameJam on Rosebud and my first published game at there, what can I say except that I spent countless hours on it! Since I'm not particularly fond of racing games, I wanted to push the concept to the max and make it my own, within my possibilities and limits. And here I am with Rogue Race, a turn-based roguelike game—my biggest project to date. I worked extensively on balancing and fine-tuning the core concept to create the most polished and bug-free experience possible (though, unfortunately, a couple of small bugs remain!). But overall, I'm really proud and happy with the experience I'm offering today! 🙂 In the future, I'd love to collaborate with the community on an endless mode (maybe even organize tournaments!), introduce new vehicles with different stats, and much more. Fun fact: i also made a port of funny battle sim there, but the rosebud ai is a little (a lot) worse than this one
It contains less units, no factions and a grid
would like to see tbh ! I thinks both engine have weakness and strenght, Upit is really useful, for assets and sounds atmo working, but Rosebud has now multifiles that is useful for longer code projects
