About RythmRunner
Hey everyone I developed this game with over 15 hours of dedicated work and more than 4,000 lines of code with zero coding skills. The game is a 2D side-scrolling platformer consisting of 5 unique phases, each with its own music, atmosphere, and mechanical twists. The main character automatically moves forward, and the player must overcome various obstacles using a combination of jump, double jump, and dash mechanics. Every 1,000 points earned triggers a phase change, transforming the game's environment, background music, and introducing new challenges. This system keeps the gameplay dynamic and engaging, as each phase feels fresh and distinct while maintaining the core mechanics.
