You play as Axel, a blue axolotl who discovers magical gems have been scattered across the underwater world. A dangerous piranha enemy is also hunting for these same gems to become incredibly powerful. As Axel, you must swim through various underwater environments, collecting magical gems before your piranha rival can reach them. Each gem you collect makes you stronger and unlocks new abilities. The game features fast-paced collection gameplay where timing and strategy are crucial - you must outmaneuver the piranha while gathering gems to power up and ultimately defeat your enemy in the final confrontation.
