Cooking update!
Well! It took me long enough to add this update, but sometimes we don’t get as much time as we’d like to do the things that we love. First of all, I almost gave up on this game, my first idea for the cooking portion was an absolute disaster. As was the second, and third and fourth and fifth. Finally I had to give myself a verbal slap in face and stop over complicating things. Not everything you create has to be super clever or revolutionary. Sometimes you just have to go back to the basics. I’m fairly happy with the way the cooking worked out and there are still some more twists to come. Anyways, here’s what’s new in this update: - money and fish are now saved for players, inventory added to the map - All fish had a tap removed from their battle meters, sardines now swim in schools - After their first fishing session, the restaurant is now unlocked - Head over to the Fish Shack to cook the fish that you’ve caught. Just click on the boombox and select any song that you’ve unlocked to start. In cooking mode, you hit the fish along the hit zone when they reach the tools on the bottom. This will send them to successive stations before finally finishing the recipe and earning you some cold hard cash. This money will be used to unlock new songs, buy fishing upgrades and even buy new tools for the Fish Shack to unlock new recipes. I’m sure there are some bugs in there, so try it out and set me straight! Next content coming is the fishing shop and the ability to unlock the mid depth waters. This will come with three new songs and three new types of fish. Thanks for your patience and I hope you all enjoy! pS, I’m aware there is a text formatting issue on some screens. I will deal with that hopefully tonight.

Checked the new cooking feature, so cool! I know you had a hard time with that one. It paid off. I would have done it differently to mimic the way fish is fried that is horizontally, from left to right, the fish goes and you need to click on time first when it's over "chop", second when it's over "dip" and then last time when it's over "fry". But please don't change anything, I don't want you to have another mental breakdown with this one! hahaha Very well done!
Thanks Juan! I originally tried to mimic fishing, but in the end I felt like I needed to change it up from the fishing to try and keep things fresh. It’s not perfect but I think it captures the essence of my original plan.
That means a lot, especially because I’m not the happiest with how long it’s taking me or how’s it’s turned out.
